About
Kostas Pilos is a Salzburg based Tonmeister and freelance audio engineer who blends classical music sensitivity with modern production techniques.
Trained at the Universität der Künste (UdK) Berlin, he specializes in recording, mixing, and immersive sound for live and studio productions across classical, jazz, opera, theater, and chamber music.
He has collaborated with institutions such as the Komische Oper Berlin, Studio Berlin, and the Salzburger Festspiele — where he led the acoustics department at the Landestheater Salzburg. His latest work bridges traditional recording methods with contemporary formats like Dolby Atmos.
